Our Guest Speaker
Dr. Sanmi Oduntan is a medical doctor and an arts in health researcher. She is a global fellow of Arts in Medicine and has served on the administrative board for the National Arts in Health Week, Nigeria. She also leads campaigns focused on creating awareness of the impact of arts in health, especially in developing healthcare systems.
Dr. Sanmi is a member of the University of Florida, Center for Arts in Medicine Research Laboratory, and on invitation, has co-authored research on arts in health with the World Health Organization through its Jameel Arts in Health Lab.
She is deeply interested in poetry, music and dance, as well as discovering new ways to humanize healthcare delivery while achieving better health outcomes via the arts and social prescribing.
